Dream Goal List
Several years ago at New Year's my friend and mentor Dr. Inge Wetzel sent me a "Dream Goals list". This list went beyond a simple listing of resolutions to include room stratagize ways to accomplish them. I suggest copying and printing this list, print and complete a page II and III for each of the goals you are serious about accomplishing. Refer back to the completed sheets often to keep you motivated and on track. Inge included a fourth page to post pictures which would inspire you and keep you focused. I think the bathroom mirror is the best place for these photos. Tape a picture of yourself at a healthier weight, the beach in Hawaii, or a dollar bill on your mirror so you begin each day thinking and planning how to make that goal come to pass.

GOAL SHEET II
A written goal provides a strong statement of your intent and the results to be achieved. Goal statements contain these elements:
A goal is an accomplishment to be achieved
A measurable outcome
A specific date and time to accomplish the goal
A maximum amount of time/resources allowed to achieve the goal
1. My goal/desire: (write your goal down as if you have already obtained it,
e.g. I am enjoying walking on the beach in Hawaii with my husband)
a. I absolutely deserve my goal or desire: Write down why this goal should become a reality.
b. Why accomplishing this goal will bring me pleasure: This will inspire you to accomplish your goal.
c. Why NOT accomplishing my goal will bring me pain: Record specific consequences of not fulfilling your goal.
d. Positive mentors: Select and record who you want to be like and why:
